Travellers departing from Vancouver International Airport on Air Canada can now use facial recognition technology for domestic flights by downloading the airline's app, submitting a passport photo, and a selfie. Participation is voluntary, with regular ID still required for security. Data is deleted within 36 hours after the trip.
