$2 million international shoplifting ring broken up in Queens, officials say

An international shoplifting ring stole $2 million worth of goods from high-end stores in three states. Five arrests were made using a new anti-shoplifting law. Products were sold online and shipped to the Dominican Republic. Gov. Hochul pledged to combat shoplifting to protect retailers and consumers.
