What proportion of rail services will be in public hands by the end of 2025?
Labour's plan for rail renationalization aims for 4 in 10 train journeys in Britain to be publicly owned by 2025. The seven current publicly-owned operators accounted for 23% of passenger journeys. Three more operators will be nationalized, increasing the public share to 39%.
