Rockefeller Center's Christmas tree, adorned with 50,000 lights and a Swarovski star crown, was lit up in New York City amid cheers from spectators. The 74-foot-high tree from Massachusetts will be on display until mid-January and later donated for lumber by Habitat for Humanity.
