Rare giant eland born at Zoo Miami
A giant eland calf was born at Zoo Miami, marking the 17th birth at the zoo. Weighing 65 pounds, the calf is the fifth offspring of 8-year-old Nomad and fifth for mother Maria. The newborn underwent a neonatal exam and is healthy.
