GM to sell stake in battery cell plant to joint venture partner for roughly $1 billion
General Motors plans to sell its share in a $2.6 billion EV battery plant in Michigan to LG Energy Solution. The sale is expected to recoup GM's $1 billion investment and is set to close in the first quarter of next year.
