GM adds over 132,000 heavy duty pickups to recall for tailgates that can open unexpectedly
General Motors is expanding a recall of heavy-duty pickups due to tailgate release switch issues, affecting certain 2024 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks. Water intrusion can cause the gates to open unexpectedly, posing a safety hazard. Repairs will be made by dealers starting on Jan. 13.
