Dow falls to kick off 2025, S&P 500 and Nasdaq tally longest losing streak since April
The U.S. stock market saw a rough start in 2025 as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite fell for a fifth consecutive day, the longest losing streak since April. The Dow also declined for a fourth straight day, the longest since December.
