Coherent to Get $32M Chips Act Funding to Boost InP Device Output
The U.S. government is providing Coherent with up to $33 million to support the production of InP devices under the Chips Act, aimed at boosting semiconductor production. This funding will help Coherent modernize its Texas plant and create around 70 jobs.
