Aviva Nears Preliminary Deal With Direct Line After Bump
Aviva Plc is close to acquiring Direct Line Insurance Group Plc in a deal worth £3.4 billion. Aviva has increased its bid to 261 pence per share. Direct Line may announce acceptance of the offer soon.
